Total War: Attila was a great return to form from The Creative Assembly after the disappointing and buggy Rome 2, but it’s not without its issues. And anyway, you can always do with a few new units, right? Fortunately there’s a tireless modding community out there hard at work on various fixes, tweaks and ambitious conversion mods.

A mod that prevents civil wars. I hate those things.

I like the Civil Wars. I'm not much of a role-player, but it does give me the feeling that I have political enemies and makes me think about how to maintain control

I really think, that 'No forced march' and 'Boarding at Ports only' mods are must have. There are more land battles with them and AI is less likely to roam aimlessly on the seas.

I mostly use the 4TPY mods in R2. Recently I tried the 4TPY IA map mod for the GC it's pretty nice. The only mods I will use on top of the are the RTW Music pack (it gives a nice change to the base game music but I don't keep it on all the time) and the only mod I made which is the 'Better Socii' mod.
TBF : Apart from that I usually don't really like using mods in games, when it comes to the Med2, S2, R2, Attila, W1/2 the only one I actually use mods quite extensively is Attila - but that's mostly because I happen to really not agree with some of the gamedesign choices that are in the game, also I try to minimize the amount of 3rd party mods and so mostly use my own stuff which usually only changes db tables so nothing too big.

There are thousands of mods out there so I thought it'd be useful to start a thread sharing some mods that players think dramatically improve the game so what are the mods that you never start a game without?
    I only have two.
35% AI Auto-resolve Bonus and Empire Divided UI Restored.

Pikes always in hands. I simply don't like how pikemen function in vanilla, seemingly pulling their pikes out of their behinds.
