Our great role-model, Nazi Germany, has betrayed their deepest principles and has allied themselves to the great enemy: The Communists. As the knowledge spreads, unrest follows in its wake. The people were willing to follow us this far, through fear of a Communist revolution, but with Germany's defection our great revival is being questioned.

Description:

The Great War is a WW1 total conversion for Hearts of Iron IV.

Start in 1910 with one of the Major Countries of this time and fight through the series of events that lead the world in the first bloodest confict: the First World War.

Become a member of the Triple Entente or of the Central Powers and help your side in the Great War.

From the French-German border, the Balkans Wars, the Russian Revolution and more to come, this complete overhaul mod includes a new map, new events, new leaders, new governments, new units, new tech tree, new game mecanics and improved AI.

How to Install:

The folder that stores mods for the game is:

• Windows: ..DocumentsParadox InteractiveHearts of Iron IVmod
• Linux: ~/.paradoxinteractive/Hearts of Iron IV/mod/ or ~/.local/share/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mod/
• Mac: ~/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mod/

Manually downloaded mods should include a .mod text file along with a folder. If so, the files can simply be dropped into the mod file. If one is downloading a newer version of a mod they already have installed, one should remove the older files first.

How to Debug:Launch the Game in Debug Mod with the -debug option.
